sustainability

Welcome to the 'green' side of Your Union!
You told us that environmental sustainability should be a growing priority for the Union and that we should be working to ensure our and the University's activites had minimal impact on the environment.
Through the Green and Blue Space we're doing just that. Using the UN's Sustainable Development Goals as a framework, we are working hard to be the most sustainable Union we can be!
From lobbying the University to divest its fossil fuels to securing external funding for improving campus cycling infrastructure, reducing our electricity and water consumption to running DIY cosmetics and spoon carving workshops, we're striving for change!
Have a look around these pages to find out what we're up to and how you can get involved - everybody is welcome.
Also follow our Green and Blue Space Facebook page for more details on upcoming workshops and events or pop in to the hub! We're located between the book shop and Union shop in the Atrium.
