Who am I?

Hello, my name is Harry. I am from Teesside in the Northeast of England.

I studied Sports Development and Coaching at Stirling and over the last 4 years I have had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with so many wonderful sports clubs and societies.

From club collaborations to fundraisers and campaigns, I have seen first-hand how much positive impact community has on the student experience. I believe we can use this awesome community to drive participation and performance in sport and empower and equip sports clubs to thrive and make our Sports Union ever better!

What is my role?

Being Sports Union President, my job is to work alongside Aileen (Sport Administrator) and Anna (Sport Development Coordinator) to support all sports clubs and ensure they get the best possible experience whilst bleeding green!

My priorities for this year.

Improving collaboration between clubs through my “President Pairs” initiative
Celebrating clubs through “Stirling Sport Spotlight,” giving them the exposure and recognition they deserve
Providing sports students with valuable workshops that increase their employability after university as well as providing mental and physical well-being workshops, supporting them through the more challenging times at university
Provide opportunities for all students to participate and thrive in our sports community that so many students love!
