Who we are


Standard = Student    Associate = Non Student

Pole fitness is a combination of dance, fitness and gymnastics. It is carried out on a vertical pole used to develop flexibility and strength. Pole fitness consists of learning moves on the pole, such as spins, static poses, inversions, floor work, choreography and loads more! 

Join us and you will benefit from an amazing workout that will help strengthen every muscle in your body. There is no need for previous experience - all levels are welcome! We have male and female instructors qualified to teach from the very beginner level to progress you towards advanced.

We currently hold classes in the Sports Hall 1 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. You need to book into classes through the UoS Sport app.

The classes offered are:

- pole fitness training

- open training

- flexibility session


We also offer opportunities for our members to compete in inter-university competitions. We will guide and support you through the entire process, from helping you choreograph a routine to arranging competition day logistics and supporting you from back stage.

Once you have purchased your membership you will receive an email inviting you to a members-only Facebook page where you can receive infromation about classes and socials. It is essential you join this group, so make sure to  message us if you don't receive the link.
