Who we are

 

Standard = Student    Associate = Non Student

If you’ve never heard of our sport before, pole fitness is a combination of strength training, coordination, rhythmic expression, calisthenics and gymnastics. Each of our members emphasizes these aspects in different ways depending on their style! The sport is carried out on a pole that can be either static or spinning allowing for many different dynamic movement combinations. Training itself can vary from practising static shapes, spins, dance and flips to dedicated conditioning, flexibility training or simply having fun on the pole. Everyone has a different style, and we’ll make sure to help you find yours whether super sexy, super athletic or something in between!

Join us and you will benefit from an amazing workout that will help strengthen every muscle in your body and an incredibly welcoming and supportive environment. There is no need for previous experience - all levels are welcome! Our instructor, Julie (@juicy_jules_p on Instagram) is qualified to teach from the very beginner level to progress you towards more advanced moves and holds our lessons every Tuesday in Sports Hall 1. 

 

Our Schedule: 

Tuesday:

Beginner lesson 9:45 - 10:45

Intermediate lesson 10:45 - 11:45

Mixed Lesson 11:45 - 12:45

 

Wednesday:

Open Training 3:30 - 4:30

 

Thursday:

Open Training 12:30 -15:30

 

Saturday:

            Semester 1: Free Training 8:30-10:30

            Semester 2: Dedicated Competition Training 8:30-10:30

We also offer opportunities for our members to compete in inter-university competitions. We will guide and support you through the entire process, from helping you choreograph a routine to arranging competition day logistics and supporting you from backstage.
