Gaelic Football- Men's

Gaelic football is one of the most exciting and fast paced sports the university has to offer. We welcome everyone regardless of previous experience and we guarantee that once you start playing you won't want to stop. Even though Gaelic Football is an Irish sport, we have members that are from all parts of the world.

The Gaelic football team also offers members with a great social experience. There are regular socials throughout the year, with themed night and big events including our annual Christmas Dinners and end of year Dinner Dance. We are sponsored by Molly Malones Stirling, the local Irish pub where are well looked after by the staff. This is where we host most of our socials. 

Throughout the year we compete in BUCS competitions in which we play against university teams from all over Scotland. Recently, a Scottish Championship has been added to our calendar, reflecting on the hard work put in from BUGAA. We also compete in the British Universities Championships every year.

Our team prides ourselves in our commitment to being a competitive team who also focus on inclusivity, diversity and having a warm and welcoming atmosphere. 

Training times as follows:

Tuesday 8.30 - 10pm on the 3G

Thursdays 2-4pm on the 3G

Saturdays 12-2pm on the airthrey pitches
