Student Managed Investment Fund

Welcome to Stirling University Student Managed Investment Fund, one of the largest and most successful societies in Stirling!

If you're interested in investing or would like to learn how, then this is the place to be. Don't worry if you're not financially savy or an investment guru, we welcome members from all backgrounds who are interested in Investments and the Stock Market. We also serve as a bridge between the Academic and Professional Industry, having a tradition of SMIF members securing Internships and Graduate Roles within prestigious Institutions.

We hold weekly in-person events on Monday evenings at 18:30 and on Wednesday at 14:00pm. Please feel free to come along and find out how you can get involved as well as to socialise with people with similar interests. 

We have a range of guest speakers scheduled including Investment Fund CEOs, Investment Bankers, Wealth Planners, and Recruiters. In addition we have formed partnerships with 7 investment societies from prestigious universities around the UK & Ireland with some joint events already planned.
