Live Music Society

Who we are

Are you musically inclined? Looking for an excuse to bring your instrument to university? Keen to get involved in the Stirling music scene?

Look no further, Live Music Society is here to provide you with opportunities to get involved in open mics, to collaborate with fellow musicians, and to give you a place to come for equipment, instruments, and information about local music and potential gigs.

We want to expand the society and make it as inclusive as possible, so we are always open to ideas for future events and how to make the society better in any way. Our aim is that members will look to us as a social group where they can connect with like-minded people with similar interests while also putting their musical talents to good use.

The Creative Cottage

Unfortunatly the Creative Cottage is closed for the forseeable future following a burst pipe causing significant damage.

The Creative Cottage is our practice space that can be booked for private or band practice by paid members during normal semester time. We have a range of instruments that can be used and space to store your instrument if you get in touch with the committee. The Creative Cottage is located near Airthrey Castle, up the hill. It shows up on Google Maps as "Airthrey Creative Cottage".
