About Us:
Welcome to the Stirling Psychology Society (PsychSoc)!
We’re a student-run community for anyone with an interest in psychology and human behaviour. Whether you’re studying psychology or just curious about the mind, you’ll find a place here with us.
At PsychSoc, our goal is to bring people together, to connect students with shared interests, create a supportive community, and explore the diverse and ever-evolving world of psychology.
We hope to offer support to students by working with the university to host events that will guide you through your studies, as well as host discussions and mini-lectures for anyone interested in learning more from our wonderful staff and fellow students. We are also excited to host various socials in person this year, in which you can get to know our wonderful members! But it doesn't stop there! We aim to plan trips, board game nights, LEGO building activities, and even collab with other societies!
But more than anything, PsychSoc is about finding friends, sharing ideas, and supporting each other through university life.
Meetings
We typically meet every Tuesday at 1730hrs.
Our next meeting is Tuesday 03/02 - a debate night! Come along for a fun, laidback debate night with no prior reserach needed! We want to spark conversations about varied psychology topics and even learn a thing or two from our peers!
Memberships
Memberships are £5 for the whole academic year, £6 if you are not a student - an absolute bargain for what you'll get out of it.
