We are Neuro-Psych of Women Stirling: a society dedicated to exploring the fascinating intersection between neuroscience, psychology, and women's experiences.

We aim to create a safe space for discussions, education, and empowerment, and, in doing so, support everyone within academia and beyond!

Why should you join us?

We welcome people of any gender, race, or ethnicity to create a community with like-minded people. We are partnered with a broader group of women's neuro-psych societies across Glasgow and Dundee, with further expansions underway! The Glasgow branch is currently exploring hosting an end-of-year conference where students from universities across Scotland can showcase the work they have achieved throughout their degrees, based on research on women.

We hope to make our society meetings and events as fun as possible!

Events to look forward to

We aim to do fun events such as poster-making socials, quizzes, debates, discussions and study sessions! We also aim to attend conferences in Glasgow with our sister branches and, hopefully, partner with them to host as many events as we can!

We are currently planning a monthly newsletter for our community members, featuring facts, current research, events, and recommendations for literature and documentaries!

We are also planning our first meeting for a try-it-out session! We will update the social media page with all the information!
