The Social Work Society at Stirling University is a vibrant and inclusive community for students across all years of study. Our mission is to provide a supportive platform for discussing key issues, enhancing learning outcomes and promoting professional development in Social Work.
We are dedicated to fostering connections through fundraising for academic excursions, hosting guest lectures and organising information sessions. The society works closely with the local community to address social inequality while promoting health and wellbeing to help members build resilience for the profession.
Our activities are designed to break down barriers to student participation, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity. We provide a welcoming space where everyone can freely share ideas, engage in meaningful discussions and grow both personally and professionally.
