Are you musically inclined? Looking for an excuse to bring your instrument to university? Keen to get involved in the Stirling music scene?
The Live Music Society is here to provide you with opportunities, whether it’s joining an ensemble or simply meeting and socialise with other musicians, we aim to put music at the centre of university life.
We have a range of activities during term time, these currently include Soul Band, Jam Sessions and the Instrumental Ensemble. We are always looking to expand the society and make it more inclusive, if you want to start a new ensemble or join committee, please get in touch.
No matter what instrument you play or what genre you enjoy, the Live Music Society has a place for you, both metaphorically and physically! Our society has access to Airthrey Cottage located on campus where we keep all our instruments and music equipment - and which you can book out to use as a practice room for yourself or your group/band!
