PROMOTION! Yesterday we beat Aberdeen 2s in our final game of the semester to secure promotion to league 1A! What an amazing year it has been for our wee club, and this is definitely the cherry on top?? I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the girls for their amazing efforts this year, thank you so much for making my time here incredible, love always, Hannah (Captain) xx
WINNING WEDNESDAYS ARE BACK! Congrats to our girls who won 19-0 today v St. Andrews. Big shout out to St andrews who played 3 players down the whole game! The Clansmen began a fundraiser challenging women's teams at their own sports. Amazing game against the clansmen yesterday! the final score was 6-5 to women’s lacrosse! Although the Stirling Clansmen put in a great fight, they still couldn’t beat our amazing team and spirits! What a great fundraiser and day!
Hard fought game today against Aberdeen 2s for our last away game of the season! An unfortunate 11-6 loss but everyone played amazingly. Next up St Andrews lacrosse at Airthrey next week!! Man of the match was Leona for being an absolute star and being super loud on the pitch. We also wore green ribbons to show awareness for mental health awareness week! Some of our girls participating in HEADstrong Foundation #gamehairhavoc campaign! As said by the Head Strong foundation: “Every month hundreds of families are forced to travel to Philadelphia for specialised cancer care. Nick’s House provides complimentary lodging for these families.” The head strong foundation is asking for donations to support their amazing cause and attached we left the donation link to donate to this amazing cause!!
It’s WINNING WEDNESDAYS here at Stirlax. Another 8-5 win away at Glasgow today meaning we maintain our second place in the league!
