Wellbeing Week

The Five Ways to Wellbeing are simple actions you can do in your everyday life which promote wellbeing. Some may already be part of your normal week. University can be a stressful time and many students at some point during their studies report feeling isolated, anxious, tired or unmotivated. The 5 Ways to Wellbeing can help you takes steps to improve your overall wellbeing. During Wellbeing Week you can experience activities based on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing:

Day one - Connect: Make space to have a chat, listen and meet new people

Day two – Give: Giving your time, skills or energy to others is a great way to improve wellbeing

Day three – Get active: Whether sporty or not, getting active in a way that works for you reduces stress

Day four – Get present: Noticing your environment, taking a breath, and mindfulness all help us to be more in the present moment and feel happier

Day five – Learn new skills: Whether creative or practical learning something new helps you feel better
