The Union is delighted to see an upsurge in applications being made to the Club Grant.  From red carpet events to safety equipment, fashion shows and European Law conferences, clubs’ imagination and enthusiasm is boundless.

Applications are made to the Communities Zone Executive Committee (CZEC) who meet every 2-3 weeks and will consider applications on their merit. CZEC is made up of 5 elected part-time officers, 3 ordinary members and chaired by Jamie Grant, VP Communities. They’re a fab bunch! Clubs & Societies are encouraged to apply to the Club Grant which has £3000 left in it and will close at the last CZEC in March. All applications must be received by 1st March and grants must be spent before 31st May 2019.

We look forward to seeing what other fantastic ideas will be coming through.  Don’t miss out! Apply by completing the Club Grant Application Form here and send it to Jamie Grant (VP Communities) communities.union@stir.ac.uk and Elaine Shepherd (Activities & Volunteer Coordinator) elaine.shepherd@stir.ac.uk

Congratulations to all those clubs who have already recieved support towards a host of exciting club activities!
