STEER is a University-wide peer support scheme linking in returning student "Captains" with new undergraduate or taught post-graduate "Crew" during their first year at Stirling. 

Whether based overseas, here for a semester abroad or starting an undergrad or postgrad, our Captains can help everyone with the transition of settling in to life at the University of Stirling. They'll be leading a coffee & a chat session on Teams where you can find out about getting peer support or just reaching out for a conversation with current students. 

This event will run on Microsoft Teams which all students have access to and will be using for many classes etc. You don't have to join with your mic or camera on and there will be a box for questions - so don't worry if you're a bit shy!
