Men’s Rugby at the University of Stirling is an ambitious, inclusive, and performance-driven club that welcomes players of all abilities — from complete beginners to international-level athletes.
We run Three competitive teams that represent the University in the BUCS leagues every Wednesday, offering playing opportunities across different levels. Whether you're new to the game or aiming to play at an elite level, we provide a supportive environment to help you develop and thrive.
As part of our rugby programme, a weekly schedule includes:
2 pitch sessions
2 Strength & Conditioning sessions
1 match day per week (BUCS Wednesdays)
1 video analysis/review session
Men's Rugby welcomes players of all abilites to join. We offer two teams that compete in BUCS leagues on Wednesday allowing for many players to repersent the University at different levels in the BUCS league system. Recent establishment of our partnership with Stirling County RFC has allowed for current and former players to repersent Stirling County at Super 6, National 1 and West Reserve 1.
The club has a strong international presence, with players from around the world – ranging from newcomers to those who have represented and captained their national teams at age-grade and senior levels. Off the field, we run a vibrant calendar of socials, fundraisers, and community engagement events, helping to build a strong and supportive club culture.
Membership:
Full membership: £110 (includes access to all training, games, and socials)
Social membership: £50 (access to training and socials; not eligible for match selection)
