Your life at Stirling University, sorted
Welcome to the University of Stirling Kayak club! If it involves a kayak, there is a good chance we do it!
We run weekly training sessions during the semester for general kayaking in the sports centre pool, whether you are a complete beginner, perfecting your roll or want to practice some rescue techniques, the pool is the perfect place to start before getting onto the river.
River and flatwater trips will also run throughout the year – there’s something for everyone, we offer some low grade trips for our beginners if its your first time on the river or something a bit more challenging for those who want to push themselves. Make sure you let us know what you want to do!
We also offer canoe polo, a game that many have compared to rugby on water – in boats. Canoe polo offers you some great opportunities to train with a lot of other university clubs as we love a friendly game and a social.
After you have bought your membership please fill out the form on this link:

During term time our sessions will run:
Friday kayak training: 20.00hrs to 22.00hrs. You must meet outside the boatshed at 19.30hrs to collect a boat!
Bring swim stuff/clothes you don’t mind getting wet, dry clothes and a towel to training sessions and remember to book on the UoS Sport app!
