Eligibility 

• Run a GIAG session 

• Have at least one committee member attend all four Community Zone meetings 

• Have all committee members completed two online GBV training modules (Don’t be a bystander/ Consent Matters) 

• Have at least one committee member attend the Society Admin and Finance Training  

• Have at least one committee member attend a workshop (E.g. First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, NHS, White Ribbon)  

• Achieve 50% voting turnout of all society members 

• Have an updated constitution and handover document  

• Have incorporated sustainability initiatives into society activities.  

• Be involved with at least one fundraising initiative 

• Have at least 10 paid members. 

Award 

• Be featured on the Students’ Union social media as a Society Spotlight 

• Have Shield Status branding on the Students’ Union website  

• Have the opportunity for an Instagram Takeover of @stir_communities account.  

• Be eligible to receive the Society Shield award of £500 for your society bank and a trophy awarded at the SU Awards showcase in April. (Final winner determined by our CZEC committee).
