We look forward to welcoming both new and returning students to campus in January (Monday 19th - Friday 23rd) with range of FREE events for ALL Stirling students at Welcome Week. 

Our programme of Welcome Week activity includes evening events at Venue including the Students' Union Quiz, Pizza & Board Games, Murder Mystery Night: Fog of the Thames and Horrible Histories Karaoke. Explore all that the Students' Union has to offer by visiting the various fayres held during Welcome Week including Sports Bazaar, Societies Fayre, Sustainability Fayre, and come and grab your freebies at the Welcome Fayre on the 19th. Additionally, check out the popular Vintage Fayre and grab a pre-loved clothing bargain and find out more about the Student Union Spring Elections '26 at the What are Students Union Elections event. 

All new and returning students are invited to attend Meet & Greet Sessions being held during the January Welcome Week '26 for LGBTQ+, Disabled, International, Parents, Mature and Estranged & Care students.This is your chance to meet fellow students and Students' Union Sabbatical Officers in an informal and relaxed setting. No booking, just turn up to the sessions.

In addition to Welcome Week, we’re hosting an inclusive discussion event where students can learn about the Scottish Government’s Draft Climate Change Plan (2026–2040), share your views, and help shape a fairer, more climate-resilient Scotland. 15 places are available via our ticket link and all participants will receive a £35 supermarket voucher as a thank-you for taking part.
