The University of Stirling Sports Union has been taking part in Movember this November and the sports clubs have been busy raising money for this fantastic cause and raising awareness of men's mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Movember gives us an opportunity to get together and work towards a common cause. As a charity that focuses on communities and their individuals, the campus environment is the perfect place to spread awareness. It allows sports clubs and teams alike to have fun raising funds, which is reflect in group hiking/fitness challenges, cold dips and rugbys darts night or simply inviting people to talk.

Movember promotes the idea you aren't alone and if you need support it's there and provides you with the framework to approach it in an informed way.
