The Students’ Union is celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month from 1-28th February on the theme of Science and Innovation with a range of events throughout the month.
LGBTQ+ History Month aims to highlight the contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals to creating a more inclusive society, raising awareness and combat prejudice through education and advocacy.
Join us for the LGBTQ+ History Month Celebration Fayre in the Atrium on Tuesday 3rd February from 12-2pm with giveaways, cake, and face painting. Free event open to all students in collaboration with Be Connected at the University of Stirling. No tickets/ booking required.
Come along on Tuesday 24th 4.00-5.30pm to the LGBTQ+ History Month Lecture 2026: 'Change' with Jessica Lynn, Global Ambassador to the Kinsey Institute, transgender advocate, educator, and activist.
Jessica Lynn is a world-renowned transgender advocate, educator, and activist. Her experiences as a transgender woman and parent led her to dedicate her life to spreading awareness and acceptance for gender non-conforming communities around the world.
