Event Description

Hello everyone!!

 

This is going to be quite a long description but it is full of very important and exciting news. 

 

As many are already aware, we are glad to announce that this semester we are performing Twisted: An Untold Story of a Royal Vizier by Starkid Productions on the 14th and 15th of April!

 

 

For the main characters of our production, we will be holding auditions on Tuesday the 24th of January at 7pm in V2&V3. There will be someone in the Atrium to greet you at 6:30pm.

 

Here is some important information to consider before preparing for your audition:

 

 

Firstly, you will not be required to audition for every part in the show. The only parts that require an audition are Aladdin, Princess, Jafar, Sherrazade, Achmed, the Captain, Sultan, Djinn and the Royal Vizier. All other roles will be cast from our ensemble auditions. Details for that coming soon.

 

If you are unable to make the auditions in person, we will also be accepting video submissions. These can be sent to us through this email, through our Instagram and Facebook pages or sent directly to a director. These must be sent in by 10pm on Tuesday the 24th of January.

 

Callback auditions will take place on Thursday the 26th of January in V2&V3. If you have been selected to attend these, you will be notified by our directors.

Please note that not all characters will require a singing audition, only an acting one. Character descriptions will also be added to this google drive within the next few days, which we recommend you read as well as watching Twisted online too.

You can only audition for 2 parts but you may be considered for others depending on what you put on this form. The deadline for this is the 24th of January at 7pm.

 

Finally, if you are unsuccessful in being cast in a main role, don't panic! You can still take part in one of our ensemble roles.

 

If you are reading this and would like to take part in this production but don't want to audition for a main role that is completely okay. We will have a meet up for ensemble in the near future and we will also have backstage and creative roles for anyone who does not want to perform.
