Big Spring Clean
Starting Tuesday 22nd of April until Monday 23rd June 2025, Your Green & Blue Space will be accepting donations to give your pre-loved items a new home this spring. You can donate kitchenware, homeware, sealed/in-date food, clothing and small electronics. There will be various drop-off locations on campus including: Spittal Hill - Laundry, Alexander Court - Reception, Union Street - Reception, Green & Blue Space, John Forty’s Court - Laundry and Beech Court - Reception.
5.7 million tons of textiles are thrown away every year into landfill, help to reduce your environmental impact by donating as part of The Big Spring Clean. Your Green & Blue Space has recycled 40 tonnes of donations through their Fair Share project since 2013, saving more than 600 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
Volunteers are needed to collect and sort donations, please sign up by getting in touch with Gabi Brame, Sustainability Development Coordinator by emailing gabi.brame@stir.ac.uk

It's been a busy semester and as we wish everyone the best of luck during the exam period, we thought it may be useful to remind you of some Union highlights from the past few weeks.
On Thursday 10th April, Officers led the Union's Annual General meeting. This provided an overview on activity from the Officers as well as presenting motions on the Union's Democratic review and on Harm reduction. Check out the info on the Union website.
It's been a time for celebration with the Sports Union Awards Ball, Inspirational Women's Awards and the SU Awards. You can find out all the Award winners by clicking on the relevant links and see photos from them all by following both the Union and Sports Union on Instagram.

Planning is already underway for Welcome 2025 - a chance for us to welcome new and returning students to Stirling and showcase the full range of opportunities and possibilities by engaging with your Students' Union.
A key part of our activity each year is to help provide the input of current students to give those joining us the advice from those who know Stirling best - you!
