Stirling Students' Union Spring Elections 2025! Stand for students, vote for change! As well as the 4 full-time officer roles, there are a number of voluntary roles! Overall you'll represent the 18,000 Stirling University students to the University and beyond.

Union President

The Union President is the political lead of the organisation, representing students' interests to University staff, local and national Government and within the National Union of Students.

Sports President

The Sports President leads the Sports Union, working with all teams and athletes. They also work with the University to improve on-campus sporting facilities, develop teams and individuals and most importantly, #bleedgreen!

Vice President Communities

The Vice President Communities is responsible for Societies, working with individual Societies to improve their membership and activities, and increasing engagement between the student body and the wider Stirling community. They also work across housing, sustainability and volunteering.

Vice President Education

The Vice President Education represents the academic interests of students, ensuring that you have a positive learning experience at Stirling. They oversee the academic representative structure of the Union, including the Faculty Officer and Academic Rep networks.

Health & Wellbeing Officer

The Health and Wellbeing Volunteer Officer is responsible for the promotion of physical, mental, social and sexual well-being to all students. In collaboration with the Sports President, they are expected to run campaigns that focus on students' well-being.

Sustainability Officer

The Sustainability Volunteer Officer works to champion the Union's environmental campaigns and activities whilst embedding the Union's work on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Alternative Pathways Officer

The Alternative and Pathways Volunteer Officer identifies and organises campaigns to raise awareness of the relevant issues affecting alternative pathways students and to work alongside the Vice President Education, other Education Zone students and Union staff, on projects to better represent alternative pathways students within the Students’ Union and build an engaged, active community.
