Connor's Journey

On the 13th September 2014 , in his first rugby game of the season, one of our players, Connor, sustained an injury to his C5-C6 vertebrae which damaged his spinal cord. This was a life changing event leaving Connor Quadriplegic with no sensation from his shoulders down.

The family and friends of Connor are now actively fundraising to raise funds to help Connor in his journey of recovery and to raise awareness of spinal cord injuries.

In the short term, once strong enough to leave the spinal unit in Glasgow Southern General, where Connor received life saving and intensive re-constructive surgery to repair his vertebrae, we want to send Connor to America to undergo further rehab at a centre known as Project Walk.

Please see our page below for further details of Connors accident, his objectives, Project Walk and our fundraising events.
