clubs & societies

The Students Union is the proud home of over 70 clubs! Check them all out in the A-Z of Clubs here!

Taking part in societies is one of the best things you can do whilst at University. It will allow you to meet new people, develop new interests, and even boost your CV!

Visit our Societies Fayre during the Welcome Weeks in September and January to speak to the societies face-to-face. You can also e-mail communities.union@stir.ac.uk or just visit our office and we'll point you in the right direction.

Not sure where to begin? Look out for Give It A Go week, which will be right after Welcome Week.

You can also check out all our current clubs and contact them here.

communities zone meetings

During semester time, monthly Communities Zone meetings are held. These meetings are essential for keeping up to date, discussing relevant issues and promoting upcoming events. It's an opportunity for all societies to make their voices heard and their views represented in the Union.

Attendance is compulsory for all societies, so we ask that every club sends at least one committee member to each Communities Zone meeting.

Check out 'What's On' for meeting times!
