Who we are

What does the society do: In a nutshell - brings together Stirling students over a frame of pool on high-quality tables. We offer relaxed practice sessions, competitive league and cup competions, women's practices and competitions as well as the opportunity to represent the mighty University of Stirling on a national stage against other Universities.

We offer focused coaching sessions to improve your skills as well as the opportunity to play snooker too.

Why join the society: If you're the kind of person who always beats their friends at pool/snooker come join us! The chances are your competitive ability will be just what is required to do well in our intra-Stirling students competitions and national events!

Its a great way to meet like-minded people at University, who may well become your good friends beyond your time at Stirling.

If you just like to play pool but not competitively - no problem. Many of our members feel the same and our practices and socials are relaxed and fun.

Achievements: Within our first year we've attended 3 National Competitions, reached 50 members, achieved a bronze stripe and won Stirling Uni's Best New Society 2014/15.
