Live Music Society

Who we are

Are you musically inclined? Looking for an excuse to bring your instrument to university? Keen to get involved in the Stirling music scene?

Look no further, Stirling University Live Music Society (SULMS) is here to provide you with opportunities to get involved in open mics, to collaborate with fellow musicians, and to give you a place to come for equipment, instruments, and information about local music and potential gigs.

No matter what instrument you play or what genres you enjoy, SULMS has a place for you, both metaphorically and physically! Our society has access to Airthrey Cottage located on campus where we keep all our instruments and music equipment - and which you can book out to use as a practice room for yourself or your group/band!

We want to expand the society and make it as inclusive as possible, so we are always open to ideas for future events and how to make the society better in any way. Our aim is that members will look to us as a social group where they can connect with like-minded people with similar interests while also putting their musical talents to good use.

Here's a wee video showcasing some of our key aspects: https://youtu.be/kQ5wnGDOISM
