SUWHC is the largest and most inclusive sports club at Stirling University! With our 5 teams we cater for all abilities and experience.

Our 1XI compete in Scotlands Championship 1 League and our 2XI compete in the Scottish Midlands Divison 2 League at the weekend.

Four of our teams compete within BUCS during the week.

Our 1XI are in 2A and our 2XI, 3XI and 4XI are in 5A. We also have a 5XI team who are more socially orientated and friendlies are organised throughtout the year for them.

We have a massive social emphasis within the club and have regular events arranged both during the day and at night. We often organise friendlies with our partners SUMHC and take part in tournaments. There are also oportunities to get umpire training, coach local schools, and meet people from other clubs through our tours. Hockey is a fantastic way to get to know people when you move to university and you're guaranteed to make friends for life.

Whether you have experience or not, you are more than welcome to come along and join our club. With the opportunity to strive in our 1XI or even pick up a stick for the first time for our 5XI we've got a place for everyone at SUWHC.

Standard membership is £70. This would be for you if you are training and playing games for the club. The social membership is £55 and this is for players who are training only. This would apply to players in the 5XI who are training but aren't playing competitive games.
