Stirling University Boat Club is a student run competitive rowing club.
Training and Competing
We train four times a week on the river Forth and in the gym. We accept people from all backgrounds and skill levels whether you've rowed before or you've never been in a boat. We train in crews of similarly able athletes so you will always find somewhere to fit in.
If you don't fancy doing the actual rowing and just want to boss people around at the top of your voice, we also welcome any current or budding coxes who want to marshal our rowers to victory.
We regularly compete all over Scotland and take many crews to the BUCS national regatta in Nottingham, racing is an important part of our club, we aim to involve every single member who wants to compete, as there is no feeling that compares to the satisfaction from knowing everyone in your crew gave 100% and acheived something.
Social
We are a very close knit club and have many brilliant socials, days away and nights out, you will soon make good close friends and share some great and crazy experiences with them.
