The Polo Club welcomes all individuals to enjoy a unique sport and social scene, competing all across the UK with a great variety of nights out and other social events.

The University of Stirling Polo Club

No riding experience is necessary to join and horses are provided. The Polo Club aims to be as inclusive as possible, this means we welcome you no matter what your background is, we also encourage participation on all levels, whether you wish to only be a social member or compete at the highest level. 

Training:

  • 1 hour lessons alternating Wednesday/ Thursday evenings.
  • Transport from campus is provided, journey lasts around 40 minutes each way. 

Competing:

  • We compete in several competitions each year across the UK, including; Scottish League, UK Nationals, the Edinburgh Annual Tournament and the St Andrews Chairty Tournament. 
  • There are also opportunities to play in Argentina, Mongolia and Prague as well as other destinations around the world!
  • Player's Party at each tournament 

Socials:

  • Regular socials alternating between nights out and quiet socials including movie nights, dinners, coffee meets and much more.
  • Christmas and End-of-Year dinners 
  • Welbeing socials are held to offer support and boost moral, these can be chilled nights with the club, study sessions or trying new things such as club yoga classes.
