WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING CYCLING CLUB

We are fortunate as a club to be surrounded by some of the best roads and trails in Scotland. For the roadies, its incredibly easy to get out of the city and into the countryside on well-paved, quiet roads and some savage climbs. For those looking for fast-pace racing Stirling Bike Club annually holds Crit on the Campus within the university's grounds. If you're looking for more of a personal challenge the infamous Logie Kirk climb, host to both the 2015 Scottish National Hill Climb Champs and the 2016 BUCS Hill Climb, sits only metres away from campus.

If you prefer muddy trails and knobbly tyres then you are truely spoilt for choice. Stirling has some of the best mountain biking trails in Scotland such as the North Third (featured in Danny MacAskill's 'A Wee Day Out') and Dumyat Hill - a favourite zone for local rider and ex-GMBN presenter Scotty Laughland. Additionally we have access to trails on campus in Hermitage Woods as well as some of our own, hand-built trails in Mine Woods above nearby Bridge of Allan.

Stirling has it all.

With such good local terrain it seems a shame not to ride a bike and thats what we love to do.
