Scotland's ancient sport has come to Stirling

Birthed from the Irish Gaelic sport of Hurling, Shinty (or its Gàidhlig name Camanachd), forged itself as a warrior training game for the Gaels of the Highlands and the people of Scotland for thousands of years.

Although the days of warriors are gone, modern-day Shinty still requires those with courage and a fire in their hearts to pick up the Caman (Gàidhlig for Shinty Stick), and clash with their opponents on the field.

The world-famous game of Hockey finds its roots in Shinty and the Scottish settlers who crossed the Atlantic all those years ago.

Experience and equipment are not required, we will provide you with the means to play.

Think you've got what it takes to pick up the Caman? Looking for a down-to-earth club full of great craic and class socials? Interested in learning one of Scotland's most ancient games?

You know where to find us, come join us on the field...
