The International Festival has become a much loved staple in the University calendar over the last few years. Unfortunately due to COVID, an in person International Festival had to be cancelled in 2020 but Dimitrios with his can-do attitude and keenness to promote that "The World Connects in Stirling" planned a whole host of amazing virtual events over 3 days to celebrate our International Campus Community and ensure that everyone, no matter where they were in the world, could join in. And so, #StirInternational2021 was born!
From Careers & Employability, VISAs and the EU settlement scheme to Clubs & Societies, there truly was something for everyone. Please see the schedule of events which took place below and a brief round up of the information offered. Don't worry if you missed any of the events, there's still plenty of ways to get involved and we've provided lots of useful links below.
All of the sessions were recorded and if you are a Stirling student who missed any of these you can request them from Dimitrios. However, we would recommend for many of the sessions gaining completely up to date information and connecting with the organisations NOW will be much more valuable. All organisations involved were incredible and we will continue to work with them to deliver the most up to date, useful and fun events and information for our students. A huge thank you to everyone who took part!
