On September 18th 2014, voters in Scotland will be asked 'Should Scotland be an independent country?'
Voting registration is now closed. If you have applied for a postal vote it should have already arrived or be with you soon.
On Thursday 18th, student representatives from both sides will be making their case for the vote in the Atrium from 10am.
Head to Studio for the Indy Ref All Nighter, where you can watch the results unfold through the night. Last access to the building will be by 1.45am in the morning of Friday 19th September. Studio will be open for this event with the bar closing at 1.30am (no alcohol to be consumed after this time). A range of soft drinks, tea and coffee and food will be available through the night to keep you going whether you’re a Yes or a No! To ensure consideration for the campus community, should you leave the building after 1.45 am there will no re-entry. Those who are attending the Alternative Night in Envy until 3am can gain access to the all-nighter following that event. As per normal operational procedures, we reserve the right to refuse entry, so just make sure if you are planning on coming to both, (and we encourage you to do so) you bear this in mind and have a safe and responsible night out.
