Lacrosse was first played by the Iroquois native Americans in the 1100s.
Played on grass, Lacrosse contains the physical hitting of American football, the speed and quickness of ice hockey, and the passing and shooting ability of basketball. The universities team trains three times a week and competes in the BUCS and Scottish league, with many of the current roster representing Scotland in natioal tournaments.
There is also a big social emphasis in the club, with frequent team socials and an annual tour to Dublin!
