Support Services & Organisations

Support Services and organisation information in with and external to the university.

If you require any support regarding LGBT issues make sure you get in contact with a committee member of the society or the LGBT Officer or event anyone in the Students’ Union. We work closely with internal services and have contact with external agencies and will be able to give you information or point you in the right direction if we are unable to provide the service/help you require. Here at stirling university (Stirling campus), we are fortunate to have a well established and long running LGBT society, though based upon society meetings and events we are also there as another form of support, as part of the committee we have a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and trans specific officers. To whom you may also seek advice and support from. Although the LGBT society is better known for its social events, it also acts as a safe space and an excellent opportunity to meet and socialise with other LGBT people within the university.

The LGBT Officer holds a weekly drop-in office hour, where you can come in for some advice and support, a more general chat or to pick up some resources and imformation. Or even if you wish to get involved, dont hesitate to come along!
