It’s time to put Your Union in Your Hands: o Healthy alternatives and quality union food o Offer Fair-Trade wine, tea, coffee and sugar o Scrap the Union’s private members’ club status to open as late as the clubs in town o Replace Glow with a brand new live music and nightclub venue o Make it easier to get hold of Brig o More autonomy for clubs to do what their members want and less red tape Kay, Laura, Andy Vote #1: Online (through the portal) 19th March, Online and Atrium 20th March 
o Take into consideration specialist dietary requirements
o Provide Fair Trade alternatives for more products
o Create a Juice and Smoothie bar
o Provide free ‘Spikeys’: students should not have to pay for safety
o Push to take over the campus supermarket as a union shop
o Improve your experience in the union with better customer service training for staff
o Continue to offer the best deals through our NUSSL membership
o Give you more choice with a larger selection of wine, speciality beers and ciders
o Open the Union to the public to support new live music nights and existing nights
o Keep students as first priority with discounted entry once we open to the public
o Stop using ‘Z-list’ celebrities as a substitute for real entertainment
o Expand successful nights such as Cult 45, Alter Ego and Comedy Night
o Bring back the crowds with a massive night of contemporary dance, pop and indie hits
o Bring bigger names and events to the Union through sponsorship
o Make freshers’ week worth going to, bigger nights more exciting events
o Show AirTV more than once a week
o Make SUSAonline relevant to students again
o Help clubs to help themselves through training for committee members
o Encourage communication between societies so they are able to share resources and expertise
o Facilitate sponsorship so clubs are less reliant on SUSA’s shrinking block grant
o Give clubs and societies the recognition they deserve at an annual festival
