Your Housing
There are many different types of accomodation that students live in while they are studying here at the University of Stirling, whether it be University Halls or Flats, Privatly rented accomodation or the students own home.
The University have three different types of accomodation that they provide for students. Halls of Residence which are predominately occupied by First Year Students, Flats on and off Campus, predominantly for those in their 2-4th years and those in post graduate study of study, and Chalets.
Other students may choose to live in privately rented accomodation, usually in and around Stirling City Centre and Bridge of Allan.
From time to time some thing crops up where students need advice about housing, whether it is University Accomodation or privately rented accomodation, the Union is here to help. All you need to do is get in touch with Mark Charters Vice President (Welfare & Education) who will be able to provide you with advice and support in this area, or point you in the right direction.
There are also other agencies who are helpful to get in touch with should you have any trouble in your accomodation. These bodies can advise you on anything to do from accomodation, whether it be rent issues, repairs, problems with landlords etc.
