UNION POLL
► Council
Made up by elected students from accross the University community, it meets two or three times a semester and sets the direction for the Student's Union. It can deal with any issues from ensuring that the University focuses teaching around students to holding the Executive to account.
To get elected to Council you can run for an Executive or OWSR position or get elected at your course SSCC as a Union rep for your department.
What is the Union Council?
Council is the political decision making body of the Union, and is the equivilant of our 'parliament'.
