Hi, I’m Jacob Longstaff a third year student. I am standing for the position of disabled student’s officer in the upcoming SUSA elections. For starters I want to ensure that nothing like the exams fiasco of last semester is ever repeated. We need assurance from the university that nothing like this ever happens again, and not be a second thought if it does, as we all know telling someone 4 days before there exams that they might not be doing them is less than appropriate, we need better communication with the university and I feel that I am the person to implement this. I feel that it has been to long that the disabled students of this university have not had the representation which they deserve. If elected I will stand up for disabled students and make the University take notice. If elected I would work hard with the Sports Union to make sure sport at Stirling is Sport for All.
