We at the air3newmusicshow were like wee kids at Christmas leading up to the mighty Xcerts coming up for a session. Being firm favourites of the show over the last year, their session and live full band set at Stirling Uni’s Transmission night did not disappoint us.
If you’ve been hiding under a massive rock for the last year or so and haven’t heard of the boys, then you are missing out. With their debut album being released via Xtra Mile Recordings on March 30th, their energetic, perky and passionate, or ‘Ludicrously punchy’ (as Steve Lamacq says), brand of music is going to be hard to miss.
Get yourself clicking to download these acoustic versions the boys kindly did for the show and hear what we’re talking about, the session was brilliant, as was the banter in the studio but their live set in the union for Transmission at night shook the very walls and was nothing short of a blinder.
