The Monday Mix Tape has returned!!!
Except we ditched the Monday, cos lets face it, who likes Mondays anyway? The Boomtown Rats didn't and hell, neither did we. Instead, we are proud to unveil the radically original new show name....
THE MIX TAPE.
Have you ever been sitting about in a musical-mood, saying to your invisible friend "I wish there was a student radio show that played a diverse range of music, no limits, and that I could email in and they'd play my favourite songs, even if it's 'Who Do You Think You Are?' by the Spice Girls, or 'Her Ghost In The Fog' by Cradle Of Filth"? Well then, fear not! The Mix Tape is here to fulfil your every wish and desire....musically speaking
Broadcasting as part of Stirling University Student Radio and available on www.air3radio.com every Tuesday 4-6pm or on the listen again feature at the website. Listen in for good and varied music, and lots of irrelevent chit chat from Nic and Julz.

The Mixed-up Surgery – Where a problem shared…Is a problem Lionel-ed.
Feeling a little mixed up? Maybe you can’t decide between cereal or toast? sleep or class? spending money or drinking money? Then Fret no more! All you have to do is drop us a message via mix_tape@hotmail.co.uk with any of your problems to the Mixed-Up Surgery. Then on the show we will listen, we will take the piss, but ultimately...we will help. sort of.
Also tune in for the old-time favourite...Dodgy Track of The Week. Where we judge a CD by its cover (that’s right, we take on all sorts of nail-biting, roller coaster riding risks on this show) and then we proceed to decide whether the track is ultimately dodgy or actually worth its salt.
New features include Beyond the Best Before Date taking a whizz through some more nostalgic music and, as if the show wasn’t jam-packed enough, we throw in special guest speakers and Mix Tape Rants into the air3 radio pot.
The Mix Tape - does what it says on the tin...tune in for a mix of genres and feel free to request any song you wish. Ultimately- join in, get requesting and listen in Tuesdays, 4-6pm on www.air3radio.com or, if you're far too busy and important, use the listen again feature on the same website.
